Membership in The Oakeshott Institute
|

The Oakeshott Institute is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose membership contributions are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. Unrestricted funds are used to help provide educational outreach to school and community groups; offer summer day camps for kids; preserve and expand The Oakeshott Institute Collection, and establish the first arms and armor museum in the five state region of the upper Midwest.

· Annual copy of The Oakeshott Institute Journal - a publication of research, articles, and photographs in the field of Arms & Armor.
· Donor recognition in The Oakeshott Institute Journal.

$250 Above Benefits, plus:
· 20% discount for each child registered in The Oakeshott Institute's summer day camp program.
· Copy of the book "Sword in Hand - A brief survey of the Knightly Sword" by Ewart Oakeshott, co-founder of The Oakeshott Institute.

Patron's Circle - Patrons help nurture and sustain an interest in studying history and the art and craftsmanship of arms and armor throughout the ages. Donors have the opportunity to be credited for underwriting one special event, lecture or conference per year.

$500 Above Benefits, plus:
· Personal guided tour of the future site of The Oakeshott Institute Museum
· Opportunity to participate in our "adopt an artifact" program. Items are selected from The Oakeshott Institute Collection subject to the approval of the President of The Oakeshott Institute. You will receive named recognition every time the artifact you adopt on an annual basis is used for educational purposes.

$1,000 Above Benefits, plus:
· Private showing of objects from our collection led by the President of The Oakeshott Institute for you and up to five friends or family members.
