Please join us, October 19th, for our 3rd Annual Pre-Halloween Masquerade Ball to benefit the Oakeshott Institute!
The event will be held at the Oakeshott Institute headquarters, a 19th century former church building in the Como neighborhood of Minneapolis.
The evening will feature Alein Whalers, a costume ball, cash bar, limited appetizers, and the chance to mingle with scholars and enthusiasts of historical European arms and armor.
There will also be a demonstration of historical sword-fighting techniques and the chance for guests to handle some real swords and other medieval European weapons.
We will have several suits of armor, swords, and other medieval and renaissance weapons on display from the Oakeshott Institute collection.
- When: Saturday, October 19th, 8pm – Midnight
- Where: Oakeshott Institute, 1035 SE 14th Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55413
Tickets are $20 per person at the door or get yours online, below. The event is for adults, 21 years of age, or older. Click below to buy tickets.
This event is a fundraiser for the Oakeshott Institute and all proceeds will go toward funding the mission of the Institute, “to promote interest in ancient arms and armor through a hands on, educational approach”.
I’d like to attend, but without plastic may find it difficult to purchase two tickets. Do you have any advice for how to make this happen?
Thank you for your consideration,
John Reese
