Blacksmithing 101

Here are some pictures from a recent intro to blacksmithing class we hosted. The participants learned about some of the basic skills of working steel hot and cold and some techniques for finishing. Giving folks their first taste of hitting hot steel with a hammer is always fun for everyone. Many got to experience new tools and working conditions.
